Jenna Noelle Ward graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in March of 2019. She has a B.F.A. in Illustration with a concentration in Entertainment Design. She currently lives in Wichita Falls, TX.

Jenna's artwork comes from a place of optimism. The images she creates involve the viewer in an environment and make it a believable space that they can experience in the way that she does. The work in her portfolio is digitally painted in Adobe Photoshop. All of her images begin with research, traditional sketching and thumbnailing, paying careful attention to dramatic composition and illustration principles. Utilizing Photoshop to paint the image as she would traditionally, she works in few layers and mimics the process of oil painting. This method allows her to contain her favored process of oil painting into a cleaner space that grants the ability to operate with a vivacity of color and material ease. The focus of her illustrations is visual storytelling, with the purpose of appearing in concept development, production design, promotional art, and children’s/young adult books.
